On March 25th (the Saturday following the Symposium) at the First Horizon Pavilion, home of the Chattanooga Market, in downtown Chattanooga, native plant nurseries and other vendors are invited offer products for sale to the general public.  The Native Plant Marketplace & Expo in a large, covered space, is expected to attract hundreds of Tennessee Valley gardeners, eager to establish and expand native plant gardens in our region. For the safety of all, masks will be required.

Annual Master Your Garden Expo 2022 by the Master Gardeners of Hamilton County, TN

Join Our Native Plant Sale!

  • On-going live demos by Master Gardeners including: Backyard Chickens, Composting, Ergonomic Tools, Hydroponics, Insects & Butterflies, Proper Mulching, Rain Barrels, Raised Beds

  • Gardening Talks presented by local and out-of-town gardening experts

  • Vendors & Exhibitors featuring: live plants, including flowers, shrubs and trees; landscaping and gardening and home supplies; as well as, foods, nature-related jewelry and artwork

  • Questions and answer table manned by Master Gardeners, where you can receive free expert advice on plants, landscaping, pest control, composting, vegetable gardening, and various topics to help you have a successful garden and yard

  • Silent Auction with items donated by our Vendors, Master Gardeners and Expo Sponsors

  • Children’s Area (ages 2 to 12): Budding gardeners can engage in hands-on, gardening-related activities with a fun project to take home.

  • Door prizes, donated by our Vendors, Master Gardeners and Expo Sponsors

  • Free Parking

  • $10 admission good for both days (cash or check)

  • Children under 12 admitted free

Plant Natives 2022 Marketplace and Expo

The Plant Natives 2022 Symposium will be held at the UTC University Center on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Speakers will include:

  • Tradd Cotter, author of Organic Mushroom Farming and Mycoremediation: Simple to Advanced Experimental Techniques for Indoor and Outdoor Cultivation

  • Dr. Andrea Ludwig, University of Tennessee

  • Claudio Vazquez, co-founder of Izel Native Plants

The Plant Natives 2022 Marketplace and Expo on March 19th will be held at at the First Horizon Pavilion in downtown Chattanooga.
