It is named after our founder Lori McAlister as she discovered this plant clone which is low-growing compared to some other beebalms that can get 4ft tall. Like other beebalms this variety is Black Walnut, Wet Soil, Rabbit, Deer and Clay Soil tolerant.

Naturally clump forming, beebalms natural habitat is open woodlands and along streams, as they prefer moist to medium soil with a lot of organic matter.
